A World That Speaks

The first Polish Ultima Online shard where NPCs are driven by real AI — talk, ask, experience.

Forget rigid, repetitive lines. In Last Guardian the townsfolk, merchants and wanderers respond to your words in-character — thanks to an advanced 32B language model running locally on a dedicated GPU server. No data leaves to third parties — everything is computed on our own machine.

NPCs speak English by default, but automatically detect your language — write in Polish and they will reply in Polish. Every conversation is different.

The model is heavily tuned for Ultima Online — it knows Britannia, its cities, dungeons, the eight Virtues and our shard systems (World Bosses, the Fire Dragon, events, tokens). It never breaks character or mentions the "real world".

Real conversations, not scripts

You: Borin, co masz na sprzedaż?
Borin (smith): "Witaj wędrowcze! Mam najlepsze miecze i zbroje w mieście. Czego szukasz?"
You: A gdzie znajdę jakieś lochy?
Borin: "Na wschód od Luny leży niejedno mroczne miejsce... ale uważaj na siebie, młody."
  • Call an NPC by name to start a conversation.
  • The NPC remembers you and answers follow-ups without repeating its name.
  • Merchants know their real stock — ask directly about wares.
  • NPCs know the world of Ultima — cities, dungeons, factions and the history of Britannia.
Living World

A town that lives its own life

NPCs talk to each other

Stand near a few residents and you will hear them hold their own conversations about trade, monsters and rumors — generated live by the AI.

AI Guide

Type [Pomoc and ask about the server, commands or mechanics — the AI answers briefly and to the point, like a helpful guide.

Herald

News from across the world: ranking leader, ongoing events, the weekly trial and the season — announced regularly ([Herold).

Reactions to your deeds

Slay a mighty foe and nearby NPCs will comment on your feat. The world notices its heroes.

AI-driven events

Events the AI runs live

Every so often the world serves up fresh attractions on its own — narrated by the AI.

Talking bosses

World Bosses and the Fire Dragon shout menacing taunts during the fight, and with their last breath utter a dying curse — all written live by the AI.

NPCs know your fame

Townsfolk react to your deeds and greet you on login by reputation: a murderer with fear, the ranking leader with awe, a hero with respect.

Living Herald

The Herald reacts to real events (a boss spawn, a tournament, a new champion) with an instant, dramatic server-wide announcement.

Arena commentator

During PvP tournaments an AI announcer commentates the fights live for the crowd — blow by blow.

Mysterious Wanderer

Now and then a cryptic figure appears beside a random player. The first to reach them receives Ancient Tokens and a cryptic blessing — then the Wanderer vanishes.

Chronicle of Britannia

A "living-world director" periodically invents an atmospheric happening — a fair, an omen, strange weather, a caravan — and proclaims it to the whole world.

AI Bounties

Quests Written by AI

The [Zlecenie command generates unique hunts with their own story.

Unique story

The Bounty Master (AI) invents the target, title and tale anew each time. No two bounties are alike.

Always completable

The target and rewards are enforced by server code, not the AI. The story is free, but the mechanics are always fair and completable.

Rewards and progress

Track progress in-game, earn gold and Ancient Tokens, and after finishing ask for a new one: [Zlecenie nowe.
